Principle
We strive to put into practice the "Golden Rule," proposed for humanity by Silo, which states: "Treat others as you would like to be treated."
Missions
• Promote and disseminate the art and science of origami in Bolivia and beyond our borders.
• Train origami instructors and masters capable of spreading this wonderful discipline.
• Create origami schools throughout the country.
• Recycle to address environmental issues.
This project brings accessible, hands-on, origami-based STEM education to help students in Bolivia spark innovation, build confidence, and open pathways to future opportunity.
By translating resources such as STEM storybooks and facilitator guides into Spanish, we hope to democratize STEM education in La Paz. Our primary objectives are to
1) train local educators using FoldEDU's workshop curriculum, empowering them to deliver engaging STEM lectures.
2) distribute Spanish origami STEM storybooks as free, high-quality learning resources for local children.
3) organize free, hands-on origami and STEM workshops in local communities to reach more youth and ignite their passion for STEM.
In the next 12 months, we expect this project to directly impact 400 - 500 people.
