I am an avid origamist, researcher, and community instructor with a passion for exploring the intersection of art and STEM. Since discovering the work of origami master Jeremy Shafer in 4th grade, I have dedicated myself to mastering complex models and am currently researching the connections between origami and artificial intelligence.

Although slightly underage, I actively volunteer and engage in diverse programs and communities around the Bay Area—including church programs, Art for Heart, and of course origami projects at FoldEDU. Additionally, I serve as one of the youngest teaching assistants at a local afterschool program, supporting students from TK through 5th grade

I am a junior at The Harker School who enjoys projects that combine creativity and precision. I love hands-on activities that allow me turn ambitious ideas into tangible creations. Through FoldEDU, I hope to appreciate the art of origami and share designs with others. Outside of origami, I enjoy listening to classical music and playing chess.

Ever since I was three, I’ve been folding anything—following instruction books, watching YouTube tutorials, and folding everything from animals to geometric shapes. I’m new to FoldEDU, but I’m excited to join the team and help grow a community where more students can discover the joy of origami. I hope to share not just the fun of folding paper, but also the deeper knowledge of how origami connects to science, engineering, and real-world problem-solving. Origami has always been my hobby, so I hope to pursue my passion in FoldEDU!
